App: Mamorinu (まもりーぬ)

Article 1 (General)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the mobile application "Mamorinu" ("the App") provided by Mirai Glow ("we", "us"). By using the App, the user agrees to these Terms.

Article 2 (Purpose and Nature of the App)

• The App is an information tool to assist users in searching and verifying dog food danger information.
• The App is NOT a diagnostic tool and does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
• In an emergency, always consult a veterinarian.

Article 3 (Pricing)

• The App is a one-time purchase (single payment unlocks all features).
• No subscription (recurring billing). No additional charges.
• Standard price: $9.99 (USD) / €9,99 (EUR) / 9,99 € (DE) — actual price per the App display.
• Payment via App Store or Google Play.

Article 4 (Refunds)

• We do not offer refunds for paid amounts in principle.
• Subject to each store's refund policy:
  • App Store: Report a Problem within 14 days of purchase
  • Google Play: Within 48 hours of purchase

Article 5 (AI Recognition Results)

• The App uses on-device AI (Google ML Kit) to identify food items from camera images.
• Identified food names are AI estimates and not guaranteed to be accurate. Users must verify the recognition results.
• The App retrieves search results via Search API (Google Custom Search etc.) and prioritizes trusted information sources (veterinary associations, ASPCA, FDA, AVMA, major pet insurance veterinary publications, etc.) using a custom domain ranking (whitelist).
• Information shown is reference only and cannot be used for individual symptom diagnosis.
• We are not liable for damages caused by incorrect information.

Article 6 (Emergency Response and Vet Calling)

• The "Call Pre-registered Vet" and "Emergency Vet Map" features assist user actions.
• We do not guarantee accuracy of phone numbers, hospital information, or business hours displayed.
• In an emergency, always contact a veterinarian directly to communicate the situation.

Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)

• Acts violating laws or public order
• Acts related to criminal activity
• Acts infringing intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of us, other users, or third parties
• Reverse engineering, decompilation, modification of the App
• Acts disrupting App operations
• Unauthorized access or login
• Using App information for medical or diagnostic services to third parties
• Other acts deemed inappropriate by us

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

• We do not warrant the App is free from defects (including safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors, bugs, rights infringement).
• We are not liable for any damages incurred by users or their pets through use of the App.
• We are not liable for results of judgments or actions taken by users based on information shown in the App.
• However, where applicable consumer protection laws apply (e.g., Japanese Consumer Contract Act), the disclaimer does not apply in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 9 (Service Changes / Suspension)

We may modify, suspend, or terminate the App without notice. We bear no liability for damages arising from this.

Article 10 (Terms Changes)

We may modify these Terms without notice when we deem necessary. Continued use after changes is deemed agreement to the modified Terms.

Article 11 (Governing Law / Jurisdiction)

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
• Disputes regarding the App fall under exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our location.
